Discover the Joy of Lino Printing.
A Hands-On Creative Course for All Skill Levels
Class Overview
Ready to roll up your sleeves and try something new? Our Lino Printing Course is the perfect introduction to one of the most accessible and rewarding printmaking techniques around. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this relaxed and creative workshop will guide you through the process of designing, carving, and printing your own unique lino print artwork.
Taught in a friendly and supportive environment, in our Peterborough Studio, you’ll receive hands-on tutoring from an experienced printmaker who’ll take you step-by-step through the essentials. From understanding tools and materials to creating beautiful finished prints, this course is all about learning by doing – and having fun while you do it!
You don’t need any previous art experience – just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment. We’ll supply all the materials you need, including lino blocks, carving tools, ink, rollers, and paper. You’ll start with simple design techniques before moving on to carving your own lino block. Then, the magic happens – rolling out ink and pulling your first print is a moment to remember!
At the end of the session, you’ll take home your very own hand-printed artwork, along with your carved lino block so you can print more at home. You might even find yourself hooked – lino printing is incredibly satisfying and a great way to create handmade cards, gifts, and artworks for your home.
Whether you come alone or with a friend, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere where creativity flows and everyone leaves with something they’re proud of.
Please bring your Apron or wear old clothes.
